Neuropsychological assessment
The neuropsychological assessment involves a comprehensive psychometric and clinical evaluation of cognitive functioning. This process enables the identification and understanding of the cognitive challenges individuals may experience in their daily lives. The evaluation covers a range of cognitive domains, including intellectual abilities, memory, attention, executive functions (such as planning and inhibition), as well as emotional well-being.
The assessment can be part of a diagnostic approach in the context of neurodevelopmental disorders (NDD).
